ABSTRACT:

The rural poverty is aggravated by occupational distribution dictated by the environment, lack of infrastructure and marginal dependence on the land. Conventional theorists see the rural poor as an environmental foe. This work has been able to illustrate on optimal action between land intensification and land extensification to preserve both the environment and habitat. Given appropriate orientation ar,d assistance, the rural poor can turn an environmental activist environmental protector while his poverty is according reduced.
