1. How do I submit an article to Academix?
We do not accept articles from individuals at the moment. We receive our articles through institutions such as universities, professional organisations and journals. If you have a paper you would like to feature on Academix, you must route it to us through an institution with which we have a partnership or your may recommend to us that we partner with an institution that publishes your work.

2. Why are certain articles free to access while others are not?
Copyright holders have determine if they want to make their content free for everyone to access or if they want to charge fees for them. Academix simply reflects the wishes of these copyright owners on its website.

3. What quality control measures do you undertake to ensure that your articles are of high quality?
All our research material are provided by credible institutions. These institutions have processes such as peer-review mechanism and checks for originality. We rely on these mechanisms to ensure that the quality of what is published on our website is high.

4. I would like permission to use or reprint part of a paper on Academix. What do I do?
For a journal, please contact the editor. Contact details for the journal editor can be found on the journal's home page. If the paper belongs to an organization or institution, you will find the contact details on the profile page for that institution.

5. Does Academix include papers from outside Nigeria?
Academix started out with an initial focus on Nigerian research. We are however extending our scope and partnerships to include multidisciplinary research about the African continent.

6. I belong to an organization that is interested in buying a bulk subscription to articles on Academix. What do I do?
Please send us an e-mail and we shall provide you with information about how you may purchase a bulk subscription for your organization.

7. What does Open Access mean?
Open Access means unrestricted online access. Articles that are featured as Open Access on Academix can be read online for free.

8. What does Fee Access mean?
Fee Access means that access to article(s) is only granted to those who pay a subscription fee. After paying a fee, they are allowed to read online and download content from the website.

9. Can I take out a paid subscription by any other means but a credit card?
As an individual, you can take out a paid subscription to Academix only by credit or debit card. Organisations who wish to purchase bulk subscriptions may pay for these via other means. If you are interested in purchasing a bulk subscription please contact us and we shall be happy to guide you.

10. What shall I do if I have difficulty downloading papers?
Please contact us and we shall be glad to help out.

11. How secure is online payment on your website?
Online payment on our website is handled by GTPay which is owned by Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. GTPay offers secure online payment using latest encryption technology. More about GTPay can be found at www.gtbank.com/gtpay.

12. Do you store my credit card details?
No we do not store credit card details anywhere on our systems. As a matter of fact, the web page that receives credit card details is provided by GTPay. We only receive notifications about whether a transaction has been successful or unsuccessful.

13. I live outside Nigeria. How can I subscribe?
You can pay using a credit/debit card. Our website accepts payments from customers with credit/debit cards issued outside Nigeria as well.

14. I am unable to login even though I am registered. What do I do?
If you are registered with Academix and you are unable to login, it is possible that you may have forgotten your password. To reset your password, visit academix.ng/demo/access and click on the ‘Reset Password' link and follow the instructions for resetting your password.

15. How long after subscribing or paying for an item should I expect to be able to download a paper?
Our promise is “to deliver research papers to you instantly. Once your payment transaction has been successful, you will immediately be able to download materials. We estimate that you should have access to your documents within 2 minutes of paying for them.

16. How can I advertise on the Academix website?
