Heart of Asia Conference: Opportunities For India

ABSTRACT:

Heart of Asia Conference is also known as the ‘Istanbul Process’. Heart of Asia is an organization of fourteen Asian nations. There are 16 other countries in cooperation with these 14 nations. Besides these 16 countries, several regional and international organizations including SAARC, European Union, and United Nations etc. also support Heart of Asia. Every year Heart of Asia organizes a meeting of members. India hopes to be an important partner in the redevelopment of Afghanistan with the help of Heart of Asia. This could also serve as an excellent platform to resume the peace process with Pakistan much needed for the stability of the Indian subcontinent
